We’re rolling out MyKappa in phases to minimize disruption and deliver a smoother experience for everyone.

We’ve started with core, essential functionality such as updating your profile, references, alumnae association and chapter websites, and member status updates. Now that the foundation is in place, we’ll continue adding new capabilities and enhanced experiences. We’ll continue to build over time based on readiness and feedback. Fraternity volunteers and staff learn and use the new platform. This phased approach supports a smoother transition for everyone.

What is MyKappa?

MyKappa is our new members-only platform. It is your home for everything Kappa. It’s an upgrade and digital transformation that reflects our commitment to serving you better.

Why do I need MyKappa?

MyKappa is your one stop for all Kappa’s digital resources. It combines the functionality of the tools you’ve been using, like the member-only side of the Kappa website, OmegaOne internal communications, alumnae association/chapter websites, and KeyReports. It streamlines them into one platform designed to simplify how you work and engage with Kappa.

Why is Kappa launching a new database and member portal?

Members have been asking for tools that are easier to use, less fragmented, and better aligned with how they interact with Kappa. We listened and are excited to provide this innovative solution.

By consolidating our platforms into one streamlined system, we’re removing barriers and simplifying how you engage with Kappa. It’s a win-win.

By acting proactively and moving to a platform built on Salesforce — one of the best CRMs — we can continue supporting members with minimized disruption while building a foundation that will serve Kappa for years to come.

How does this change impact me?

MyKappa is a new technology system, so while many features are familiar, they are in new places and may have different processes. MyKappa is easy to use and accessible with icons that show you where you need to go. It is also responsive to both mobile and computer screens.

We know that learning new technology can feel overwhelming, and it’s normal to need time to adjust as you explore a new system. The MyKappa team is here to support you, and we’re committed to providing the resources, training, and assistance you need to feel confident using MyKappa.

Is dues collection changing for alumna members?

Alumnae are able to pay both per capita fees and association dues in one streamlined transaction through MyKappa. Associations must be set up for MyKappa dues collection to be listed. Note: Alumna members can pay by bank account or credit card. (MyKappa will accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.)

Is dues collection changing for chapter members?

No, chapter members will continue using Unified Finance (formerly Billhighway).

Will my website login continue to work, or will I need to create a new account?

All Kappas will need to create a new login (username and password) for MyKappa. When creating your login, we recommend using a personal email account, not one associated with your officer role or a college/university email.

What will happen if I do not create a MyKappa login at launch?

A MyKappa login can be created at any time in the future. You will continue to be in Kappa’s membership database and your contact information will remain unchanged.

What has Kappa done to prepare for the launch of MyKappa?

As part of Kappa’s strategic priorities, a team of Kappa Headquarters staff has worked to understand the needs of members, chapters, and alumnae associations to determine the best platform for Kappa. Since fall 2024, staff have been working with re:Members, the selected membership software group, to map our transition to Salesforce and the MyKappa portal. Along the way, we have consulted and will continue to consult with members and volunteers to seek feedback.

What Kappa technology is no longer available?

The KeyReports platform and OmegaOne internal communications and websites are no longer available.

Will everything I’m used to on the Kappa website, OmegaOne, KeyReports, etc., be available?

No. We launched with core, essential functions first, such as member contact updates, membership and leadership rosters, member management systems, and references. The resource library is live and will continue to be updated over time.

We’ll continue adding new capabilities and enhanced experiences, building over time based on readiness, feedback, and what is needed most. This phased approach reduces overall disruption and supports a smoother transition for everyone.

Will Find a Kappa still be available?

Yes! Find a Kappa is available on MyKappa to dues-paying members.

Where can I submit a reference for a potential new member (PNM)?

You can submit references in MyKappa. Note: Only alumna members who have paid per capita fees will be able to access the reference form. Learn more about the reference process.

Will the MyKappa transition affect my donations or ability to give to the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation?

No! You will still be able to donate to the Foundation here. Email the Foundation if you have any questions about your gifts or donating to the Foundation.
