Federal Judge in Wyoming Dismisses Litigation

8/29/2023

On August 25, a federal judge in Wyoming dismissed litigation that had been filed against Kappa Kappa Gamma over the right of a private fraternal organization to choose its members at the University of Wyoming. In dismissing the case against Kappa, the judge ruled the plaintiffs in this case failed to state any plausible claim and that some of the allegations the plaintiffs made were “unbefitting a federal court.”
