Fleurever Kappa—The Campaign for Kappa Kappa Gamma

DUBLIN, Ohio (June 26, 2026) — The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation is thrilled to announce the public launch of a $50 million comprehensive campaign: Fleurever Kappa — A Campaign for Kappa Kappa Gamma. This ambitious initiative will fuel Kappa’s next chapter of growth, innovation, and member impact.

The announcement was made at the organization’s 76th Biennial Convention in Orlando, Florida, where Kappa collegians, alumnae, and staff gathered to celebrate and conduct the business of the organization.

While the Fleurever campaign was publicly launched today, the journey has been underway since July 2022. During the quiet phase of the campaign, nearly $32 million has been raised with generous contributions, pledges, and planned gifts by Kappa supporters. To date, the Kappa Foundation has already raised 63% of the funds toward the Fleurever Kappa campaign goal.

“This campaign is about more than just numbers; it’s about the lives we change and the legacy we build together,” said Kappa Foundation President Peggy Black Meyer, Vanderbilt. “Everyone who makes a contribution is part of this story, creating a fleurever Kappa — we are trailblazing tradition, fostering connections, and securing our future.”

Funds raised through the campaign will support the Kappa Foundation’s mission to empower sisters, preserve the organization’s legacy, and fuel the innovations that will bring the future of Kappa.

The campaign seeks to broaden the Foundation’s impact with an influx of unrestricted dollars to support the ever-changing needs of its members, building on the Kappa Foundation’s emphasis on supporting trailblazing initiatives at all levels.

“Unrestricted support means we can meet our sisters wherever they are, whenever they need us,” said Kappa Foundation Executive Director Jill Lansing Lucken, Iowa State. “The future truly belongs to those who invest in possibility, not just programs. We want to dream boldly for the future of the Kappa Foundation and Kappa Kappa Gamma as a whole.”

With an inspiring lead gift of $10 million from Dr. Marty Vanier, Kansas State, the campaign has set an ambitious course in preparing for the future of Kappa as a whole. “I have long been a supporter of the Kappa Foundation but am truly honored to make this gift to the Fleurever campaign because I believe in the power of this initiative to usher the Kappa Foundation and Kappa Kappa Gamma as a whole into a meaningful and empowered future,” said Marty. “I hope this gift galvanizes other Kappas and those who believe in the power of supporting women to lend their support to this historic campaign.”

Fleurever Kappa will exponentially increase the Kappa Foundation’s ability to meet the ever-changing needs of the next generation of leaders on college campuses and beyond.

“For more than 150 years, Kappa Kappa Gamma has been a place where doors have opened. Doors to education, growth, and support; to futures that once seemed impossible,” added Jill. “But we realized it’s not enough. The work we do through the Kappa Foundation can open doors for women everywhere. Doors to safety, opportunity, belonging, and possibility. This campaign is about our sisterhood today. Our legacy tomorrow. Our impact fleurever.”
