Meet Your Host

Kristi Mayfield spent more than 20 years leading global business development in the defense industry — navigating high-stakes client dinners, cross-cultural negotiations, and boardrooms around the world. It was in the moments around the table that Kristi learned how powerful wine can be. She didn’t have the confidence to navigate wine lists with clarity and confidence, so she built the solution herself.
Kristi founded the Sip Society Collective and created Social Power Skill™ and Empowered Social Capital™ frameworks — a methodology that transforms practical wine fluency into executive presence, strategic relationships, and measurable confidence.
She’s on a mission to take the fear out of wine and give women the tools, language, and confidence to own every room they walk into. Her corporate background blends with her wine expertise to bring you education that’s real, relevant, and rooted in creating unforgettable experiences — whether personal or professional.
Kristi holds a WSET Level 3 with Distinction, a Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory certification, and an MBA. She is based in Fort Worth, Texas.
