In consideration of the opportunity to participate in this event conducted by the Kappa Kappa Gamma, whose registration process requires me to accept this agreement, I hereby agree to the following Waiver and Release of Liability (Agreement):
- My participation in the event is voluntary and subjects me to the possibility of intoxication, inebriation, or physical injuries, all of which could be minimal, serious, and/or result in death and loss of or damage to my property or the property of others.
- I understand and agree to assume all of the risks of participating in the event. I recognize the risks involved in the event and attest and certify that I am physically healthy enough to participate safely, and I have not been advised otherwise by a health care professional.
- I am legally allowed to consume alcohol. If I choose to consume alcohol, I am solely responsible for monitoring the amount I consume. I agree not to consume alcohol in a manner that would result in any violation of local, state, or federal laws.
- I hereby release and hold harmless Kappa Kappa Gamma, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and contractors (collectively, Releasees) from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damages, and attorney fees and costs whatsoever arising from or relating to these Risks (Claims) or any other claims directly or indirectly relating to my participation in the Event, including those caused by the negligent acts or omissions of any or all of the Releasees. I shall defend and indemnify (meaning to pay or reimburse any amount required to be paid, including attorney’s fees) Releasees, for my actions or omissions, which cause harm or damage to the Releasees or any third party during my participation at the Event.
I HAVE HAD SUFFICIENT OPPORTUNITY TO READ THIS ENTIRE AGREEMENT. I WARRANT THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THAT THIS AGREEMENT INVOLVES MY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF SIGNIFICANT RIGHTS AND MY ASSUMPTION OF SIGNIFICANT INDEMNIFICATION RESPONSIBILITIES IN PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT. I VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
