Have you ever considered serving on one of Kappa Kappa Gamma’s governing boards — or on a nonprofit board in your community — but aren’t sure what it involves or how to get started? Keys to the Boardroom will give you the foundation to thrive in a governance role.

Keys to the Boardroom is an immersive learning experience facilitated by former Alpha Chi Omega national president Angela Costley Harris, an accomplished nonprofit board consultant and coach.

The cohort of selected applicants will network, discover a pathway to service, and develop skills for use beyond Kappa. After the course, participants will be prepared to contribute effectively at a board level.

Through interactive sessions and guided learning, Kappas will explore:

  • Board roles and responsibilities.
  • What organizations, including Kappa, look for in strong board members.
  • Nonprofit financial oversight.
  • Fundraising strategies.
  • Strategic planning.

Whether you’re actively pursuing board service or just exploring the possibility, this program will give you a strong foundation for leadership growth.
