We’re Booked: January 2026 Fleurish Book Club
Our TBR list is never-ending. The latest addition? We Might Just Make It After All: My Best Friendship With Kate Spade by Elyce Arons, co-Founder of Frances Valentine.
Kappa alumnae are in for a special treat on Monday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. MT! We’ll be joined by Elyce Arons herself to talk all about her new book; her friendship with Kate Spade, Kansas; and the multimillion-dollar company they founded.
MEET YOUR HOST

One could say Elyce Arons does it all. After graduating, she and Kate moved to the Big Apple to make it big in the fashion industry. We’re all familiar with their first brand: Kate Spade. You may even have a Kate Spade bag in your closet!
What came next for the two besties? Frances Valentine, a vintage-inspired clothing line making fashion fun and encourages women to wear what makes them happy. The label is a continuation of the joy-sparking, legendary style Elyce and Kate are known and loved for.
Elyce has been featured on Good Morning America and The Today Show, and in publications, including WWD, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. She lives in New York City with her husband and three daughters. When she’s not running a global brand, you will find her gardening, playing tennis, or perusing the colorful stalls of a vintage market.
About We Might Just Make It After All

In June 2025, Elyce published her memoir, We Might Just Make It After All: My Best Friendship With Kate Spade, which debuted on the New York Times Best Seller list. The book chronicles her decades-long friendship with Kate Spade and the lessons she has learned building two iconic fashion brands.
