Once a participant has registered for Convention, they will be directed to the travel information section of the Convention registration site. Registration will not be complete until you have completed the travel information section of Convention registration.

When registering with Direct Travel, you will be required to state the capacity in which you are attending Convention (e.g., chapter delegate, association delegate, House Board representative, chapter adviser, general member, Fraternity representative or event staff). Remember: Kappa pays for one chapter delegate and one alumnae association delegate to travel to Convention. Additional attendees should register as general members.

(Per Kappa policies, participants whose transportation costs are covered by Kappa will be reimbursed for the cost (if any) of one standard checked bag. Additional baggage fees will be the participant’s responsibility. Kappa pays the lowest applicable airfare from the participant’s home city to Convention. Any stopover or deviation will be at the participant’s expense. Any changes to the purchased airline ticket are at the expense of the participant.)

IMPORTANT: Upon completion of registration, participants requesting air travel will receive a proposed travel itinerary within two weeks of registering. Failure to respond to the travel confirmation email will result in the travel being ticketed. Any changes or cancellations to ticketed travel are at the expense of the participant. The proposed travel itinerary email will come from [email protected]. The subject line will read: ACTION RQD KKG CONVENTION.

Again, once the email has been received, you must reply to the email to request modifications to the proposed travel itinerary within 24 hours. Failure to respond to the email within 24 hours will automatically ticket the air travel.
