MEET OUR GUEST SPEAKER
As a senior learning developer at NVIDIA and founder of Engineer Inclusion, Dr. Meagan Pollock works across industries to build equitable and effective learning environments.
She holds a Ph.D. in engineering education from Purdue University, a master’s in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University, and a bachelor’s in computer science from Texas Woman’s University.
Pollock serves as director for diversity, equity, and inclusion for the American Society for Engineering Management, is a past chair of the American Society for Engineering Education Commission on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and volunteers on the board of High-Tech High Heels, Southeast Texas — all of which are organizations committed to advancing equity in STEM.
Her latest book, Magic Mirror: Nine Practices to Be a Better Leader, Educator, Colleague, Neighbor, Friend, and More, invites readers to explore how identity shapes their world.
