All-Member Experience Webinar Series

Eating Disorder Awareness

Did you know that eating disorders affect millions, and college women are one of the most at-risk groups? It’s critical to spread awareness, empower education opportunities, and offer support, especially during these years. Tune in for a conversation with our philanthropic partner, the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA).

Whether you’re supporting a friend or navigating your own relationship with food and body image, this webinar will offer guidance, understanding, and connection. Plus, you’ll…

  • Gain insights into the warning signs of eating disorders, risk factors, and how these disorders connect with other mental health conditions, like anxiety and depression.
  • Learn how to appropriately respond, offer support, and provide useful resources.

Shivani Dutt is the manager of mission initiatives at NEDA. Her journey with the nonprofit began in 2018 as a helpline volunteer. Now, she uses her experience of helping others find information and treatment options to expand NEDA’s website resources.

As someone with lived experience, Dutt values the importance of developing culturally relevant resources to bridge the gap when it comes to seeking help. In her current role, Dutt manages mission-based collaborations and partnerships, oversees the expansion of NEDA’s online screening tool, maintains research study and treatment directory listings, supports volunteer engagement through Campus Warriors, and coordinates the Feeding Hope Fund Grant process.

Join us each month and get ready to learn something new. Our guest speakers share their areas of expertise, tips and tricks for you and your chapter members, and more.

Host a watch party with your chapter (psst … this fulfills your chapter’s All-Member Experience requirement) or tune in from the comfort of your couch. Can’t watch live? No worries. The webinar will be available on Minerva within 48 hours of the live event.
