Q&A with Little Words Project Founder and CEO Adriana Carrig

4/17/2024

Spread kindness one word (and bracelet) at a time. Start by joining us Wednesday, April 17, at 12 p.m. ET for a Q&A with Adriana Carrig, the founder and CEO of Little Words Project. She’ll share her story and, together, we’ll learn how we can create a community of kindness within Kappa and beyond.

Register

The first 100 people to register for the event will receive a custom Kappa Kappa Gamma bracelet by Little Words Project. Please note: In order to receive a bracelet, you must be in attendance at the event on Wednesday, April 17.

Little Words Project is a jewelry company that aims to inspire and encourage people to be kind to themselves and to pay that kindness forward, one bracelet at a time. You may have seen these beaded bracelets around town or at your favorite retailers. The words of affirmation or little reminders on one’s wrist inspire positivity, spark connection, and most importantly, spread kindness.

Our Guest Speaker

Adriana Carrig

Carrig is the founder and CEO of Little Words Project, a jewelry brand on a mission to inspire a kinder world through handcrafted, wearable affirmations.

After years of being bullied by her classmates, Carrig was motivated to start Little Words Project in 2013 in her parents’ basement. Her dream was to create the community she deserved to experience in her youth. Ten years later, Little Words Project is a multimillion-dollar enterprise with a passionate legion of supporters and is carried by major retailers like Target and Nordstrom. The brand’s brick-and-mortar locations span cities across the nation. Thanks to the success and popularity of her business, Carrig has been featured in Forbes and recognized as Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 for the state of New Jersey.

Outside of running a nationally recognized brand, Carrig also serves as the founder and president of Herself Co., a nonprofit organization developed to foster a thriving community of compassionate young women through its confidence curriculum and programming. The group aims to enhance the self-worth and general mental wellness of tomorrow’s leaders.
