    2014 General Convention

    Save the date for the 70th Biennial Convention in Houston, Texas!

    Convention 2014 Houston
    General Convention is a four-day gathering held every other year, and it is the largest Kappa event. Delegates from across North America meet to conduct Fraternity business, and all members are invited to attend. Check back here often for updated information on our 2014 General Convention.

    Who:    Chapter and alumnae association delegates, Advisory Board and House Board representatives, official family members and any Kappa who would like to attend!

    When:     June 25–29, 2014

    Registration:    Register by April 15

    Registration deadline:    May 15, 2014

    Early-bird registration ends April 15!

    Register for Convention today to receive the early-bird rate! On April 16, the Convention registration fee increases. You must be logged into the website to access Convention registration. We hope to see you in Houston!

    March 2014

    The proposed amendments to the Fraternity Bylaws and Standing Rules are available!

    If you are attending Convention, there is a Bylaws Forum educational session scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 11:15 a.m. and again at 2:15 p.m. The Forum is an opportunity for you to ask questions about the proposed amendments.

    To view the proposed amendments, please visit www.kappa.org/members> Login and then go to Conferences>Convention>Proposed Amendments.

    Convention registration is now available. Follow the instructions below to register today!
    1. If you are an alumnae association President, Secretary or Treasurer, complete the Alumnae Association Delegate Election Form by April 15.
    2. If you are a chapter Corresponding Secretary, complete the Chapter Delegate Election Form found in KeyReports by April 15. As a reminder, you can find KeyReports by visiting www.kappa.org/members> Log in> More Resources> Chapter Corresponding Secretary.
    3. If you are an Advisory Board Chairman, complete the Advisory Board Representative Authorization Form by April 15.
    4. After completing steps one, two, or three, register for Convention by April 15 and complete the online Convention Travel Request Form by May 1. Optional: Complete the Emergency Information Form.
    You must be logged into the site to complete the registration process.
