Kappa Kappa Gamma Establishes Two New Chapters
COLUMBUS, Ohio (Nov. 27, 2013)– Kappa Kappa Gamma is proud to announce the installation of two chapters at Wichita State University and Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Ill. Kappa now has 141 chapters in the U.S. and Canada.
On Nov. 16, 2013, forty undergraduate students at Wichita State and three alumnae from a local organization, Gamma Epsilon, were initiated as members of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
On Nov. 23, 2013, Kappa’s newest chapter, and the final one of 2013, was installed at Elmhurst with 43 initiates.
“Wichita State University and Elmhurst College are fine institutions of higher education,” says Julie Leshay, Fraternity President. “We look forward to the growth and future accomplishments that our members will contribute to the outstanding, values-based Greek communities on these campuses.”
The Wichita State Panhellenic community includes Alpha Phi, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma and Gamma Phi Beta, making Kappa the fifth Panhellenic group on campus. Kappa joins Alpha Phi, Phi Mu and Sigma Kappa at Elmhurst.
As part of the growing fraternity and sorority movement, the newly installed chapters will be held to high academic standards and will promote leadership and philanthropy on their campuses and in their communities.
