What's the process?

  1. Once you’ve determined which scholarship you are eligible for, complete the application and submit supporting documents by Feb. 3, 2020, at 5 p.m. ET.
  2. After the application and supporting documents are submitted, the Scholarship Committee will choose eligible and qualified applicants for all Foundation scholarships.
  3. In April 2020, all applicants will be notified via email whether they have received a scholarship or not. Applicants should check their spam folder, too.
  4. For those who receive a scholarship, we will send a scholarship agreement via email in May 2020. Scholarship agreements must be signed and returned in order to proceed.
  5. In July 2020, all scholarship recipients will be notified via email when scholarship checks are in the mail.

This sounds great! What other information do I need to know?

  • Applicants may only apply for one scholarship per academic year.
  • Scholarships are awarded for the next academic year.
  • Scholarship funds may only be used for educational purposes, such as tuition payments, cost of books and lab fees. Scholarships may not be used to pay for debt already incurred or to pay chapter dues or fees.
  • Still have questions? Check out our FAQ page and flyer.

How do I apply?

  • An unofficial transcript that includes grades from the fall term must be uploaded to the online application.
  • Don’t wait to submit your application until you have received references or uploaded transcripts. These can be added after the application has been submitted.
  • The scholarship reference link within the online application must be used to request a reference.
  • Supporting documents mailed or emailed to Kappa Kappa Gamma Headquarters will not be accepted. All documents must be requested through or uploaded to the online application.
  • Before you submit your application, be sure to review this checklist to ensure you've completed all necessary materials.
