Is tuition reimbursement offered if course credit is sought for the internship?
Yes. Tuition reimbursement of $500 is available for course credit. The intern and her college/university must arrange this prior to beginning the internship.

Is there any travel during the 12 weeks?
When the internship is during a Convention year (even years), the intern will travel to the Convention with the staff of Fraternity Headquarters. She will help design, install and operate the Museums exhibit at Convention. When the internship is not during a Convention year (odd years), the intern and the Archivist/Curator will travel to The Stewart House in Monmouth, Illinois. They will provide professional support as needed by The Stewart House at that time.

What is required during the internship?
The intern is required to maintain a full-time work schedule at Fraternity Headquarters, five days a week, 7.5 hours a day. The Archivist/Curator and successful candidate will agree upon various projects prior to the start of the internship. An exit interview will be conducted by the Executive Director of the Foundation and an evaluation will be filled out by the intern at the completion of the 12 weeks.

Other projects may be assigned as decided by the Archivist/Curator and successful candidate. The program can be tailored to one's area of study or interest. |

When do I start?
On a Convention year, the intern must begin the program three weeks before the start of Convention – typically by June 1. If the intern is a student, the dates will be determined based upon the end of school in the spring and the beginning of school in the fall.

What if I cannot work a full 12 weeks?
The internship is a twelve-week program. Should the intern have a scheduled vacation or similar situation, it may be possible to arrange the dates accordingly. When the internship is during a Convention year, the intern must be available during the week of Convention and at least the two weeks prior. Applicants who are unavailable during that time will not be considered.

How can I support the Catherine Schroeder Graf Internship?
Donations are accepted to fund this program. Currently the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation funds the internship. The establishment of a permanent endowment to fund the internship is a long-term goal.
